Kind BarsKind Bars

It is almost time for summer and that means beach body season.  In order lose weight you need to have the proper amount of exercise as well as the proper diet.  A really great snack to hold you over from one meal to the next is the Kind Bars.  The Kind Bars are sold at local grocery stores around the country for about $1.50.  Kind Bars are pretty similar in price to your average candy bar, except one major difference, and that difference is Kind Bars is way healthier for you.  Kind Bars come in a variety of flavors.  You can purchase cranberry and nut Kind Bars, chocolate Kind Bars, blueberry, apple and cinnamon bars and you can even purchase variety packs of Kind Bars if you like to switch it up here and there.

Kind Bar

Instead of choosing to swing by a fast food drive thru, you may want to just pack a Kind Bar go.  There really easy to eat on the go and a Kind Bar is nice and neat to eat, unlike all of that fast food that leaves your hands greasy and your belly bloated.  The top selling Kind Bar is the cranberry and almond blend.  It is loaded with antioxidants and you also get 50% of your daily servings of vitamins A, E, and C.  Not to mention the bars are loaded with fiber which your body definitely needs to run properly. Although the bars are small, they fill you up for a while and are only 190 calories.

Kind Fruit and Nut Bars

Kind fruit and nut bars have been around since 2003 and have just been exploding in sales.  Honestly people really gravitate towards a healthier snack especially when the healthier snacks help energize and refuel the body.  Other companies in competition with the Kind fruit and nut bars company pack their products with so much sugar that yes initially after it is eaten the body feels energized, but soon after, when the body starts to digest, the sugars create a tired feeling in individuals which is the complete opposite of what any normal person would want.  The whole reason the Kind fruit and nut bars company named themselves Kind, is because they want people to be Kind to their body.

Haven’t you ever heard the over said phrase “you are what you eat?”  Well that statement as annoyingly over used as it is, is true.  If you fill your body with a bunch of junk, you are going to become unhealthy and lazy and pretty much useless.  On the other hand if you eat healthier foods like fresh fruits and vegetables and nuts, items that are used to create the delicious snacks made by Kind, then you will have energy and have a much more productive day.

Their slogan at Kind is “Do the Kind thing for your body, your taste buds and the world.”  They are not just some money hungry company they actually want to help people help themselves.  We see it every day in the news, in reality television shows, news papers and pretty much any other media outlet there is, they are portraying America as fat and lazy.  It is no wonder one of the main causes of death here in our country is contributed to heart failure.  Heart failure is brought on by eating improperly and it isn’t always the obese or overweight individuals either.  For instance my father has a very strong heart.  He is 55 years old and about a few months ago started having chest pains.  Well he went in and had a stress test performed and it came back kind of funky.  They went and had an EKG done and after a few different tests they came to the conclusion that they probably would not be able to even use a stint but would have to do open heart surgery, since his arteries were almost completely blocked.  Over time eating a lot of fatty foods causes the arteries to clog.  I guess you could think of it as trying to shove food down a drain that isn’t a disposable one.  Eventually it is going to clog the drain and water will not be able to go down and flow properly.  Well the blood flow in my dad’s veins was not flowing properly due to the blockage and he ended up having 5 bypass surgeries.  Obviously some of his genes and heredity played into his problem, but he could have prevented that scary surgery if he would have ate healthier and watched what he was putting into his body.  I guess when people are younger they feel invincible, and all those years of eating, drinking, smoking, and basically indulging in things non healthy will eventually catch up to you and sometimes the results are not as good and can often end in death.
